Sal's is by far, my favorite Pizza in Chelmsford area. I do not understand how many locals prefer ordinary "pub pizza" or worse, "cardboard pizza" from other local pizzerias.
I often get Sal's Pizza when having out of town friends and it became a thing, people really like it!
They are a bit more pricey than others, but IMO it is well worth it! -

Awesome fresh pizza and bread knots , 2 large slices and a drink is less than $8, they call 1/4 or a 19" pizza a slice

The pizza wasn't bad when he opened years ago but I think the real estate he now has as a core business has gotten in the way of him caring about the quality of his food business. Let's face it, the school kids don't know the difference when they eat it in school but I'll bet they say no to going into Sals restaurants when Brickhouse or many others are so much better quality. That's what happens when you get rich- down goes caring.

They're only getting the two stars for the friendly hard working high school kids behind the counter.
When ordering your pizza they turn the register flat touch screen toward you to sign for your cc , the first prompt asks how much you want to tip.. SERIOUSLY!!?? Ridiculous!! The screen was so dirty I didn't want to touch it.
$42 for two 19" pies, & garlic knots- that the girl forgot to give us but thankfully one of the boys came around and gave them to us as we were leaving. So I guess cold balls of dough are better than none.
We went to sit and wait and most of the chairs and tables were dirty.
We got a half cheese and pepperoni and it was bland with no flavor and luke warm. Also got a BBQ chicken pizza and it was absolutely smothered and covered in the absolute worst generic BBQ sauce I've ever had.. oh and ya there were a few small pieces of shredded up chicken here and there that looked and tasted like the pre cooked stuff you buy at the grocery store...
So, me and my three kids all agreed that this will be the last time we go to Sals.. I now remember why it's been two years since we've been....

Plenty of parking in a large plaza. You walk in to a clean open seating arrangement. As you walk up to the counter , you are greeted by pleasant workers, which is number 1 for me. There a good selection of pizza made to choose from if you just want a slice. We got a few slices and a salad. The sauce on the pizza tasted kind of off compared to the other times we ate there. Other than that, love this place! There plenty of other good stuff as well and should not be disappointed if trying something different. There's plenty of TVs around to catch the Sox on while you eat. If you want good pizza and don't want to worry about parking, this would be the place to go.
